MIS Ultracrome Inks -Solarization on Glossy

Thank you Paul for the previous posting regarding the solarization 
problem I am having using MIS Ultrachrome on Glossy (using Epson 
1270).
I believe you suggested I work on adjusting the curves. I am curious 
what is the cause of the solarization and where I might start in 
approaching adjustments of the curves.
