Before you go luaching off to buy carts that you can't use ... and I 
hope I'm not teaching anyone to suck eggs here ...

The T009s are designed for the 1270/80/90 printers, whereas the T008s 
are for the 870/90 and a few other A4 printers.  The T009s won't fit 
in a T008 machine - they're much longer.  

I don't know if even the T008s will fit snugly in a T009 slot (once 
properly fixed down etc) but I wouldn't like to try.
