Bob;
WE can't afford to fix much on them because we're being royaly 
screwed for parts, if not service; I'm sure it doesn't cost Epson 
even 20% of what we pay, and if they send them overseas for the 
refurb, their labor doesn't cost much either.

I don't want a second (I already have a 1280)12xx machine badly 
enough to pay $400 for it; $200-250 is my limit. If I can't do it 
that way, I'll sell it cheap for parts to some poor soul who forgot 
to put a chip on his cart, I've been there myself.
