Hi Guys, I am using the GP inks in a second 1290. I had a custom profile made by DryCreek as the canned ones were total c**p. The results I am getting are EXCELLENT, far better than I had with plug and play dyes, but this may be the profile which was beyond expectations. I am using GEN4 black following my own little disasters with the Eboni. Good luck, Steve. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Alan Zimmerman" <azimmerman1@c...> wrote: > > To: John H, > I have just started with MIS GP inks on an Epson 1280.The first attempt using the ICC profile suggested for this printer, ink and paper, printed with a prounounced cyan cast. I then set up my own color profile adding *20M,+20Y and came close to Epson dye based inks on lustre paper.Still experimenting > Alan Zimmerman > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Daniel Staver > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 4:58 PM > Subject: RE: [Digital BW] MIS Ultracrome Clones and MIS GP Archival ink. > > > Yes, I've refilled a cartridge set for my 2100 with the Ultrachrome > clones.
