thanks, Antonis and everyone else... I'm very space constrained at the moment. I thought there was more out there in the way of mac emulators...I can't even find any that emulate OS X... I was trying not to add another computer...if I do, a printer will have to go for now. I think I may look at a used power book or iBook. We have our pc's and my wife's mac (not anywhere near my darkroom) on a wireless network that seems to make file transfers totally easy (in fact the whole network was a no-brainer...plug and play 3com adapter and it worked fine with all the pc's and the airport...nice). off to ebay and used ibooks <g>. tom --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Antonis Ricos" <antonisphoto@y...> wrote: > Tom, > > a couple of thoughts on emulator alternatives: > > - I use an ancient pre-G3 Mac (8500) to drive OPM and the 2200 really flies. > On that same machine printing through the Epson driver and Photoshop is > slow as molasses - as expected.
