Any RIP that allows you to print without using yellow in B&W prints will eliminate the metamerism. I've been using ImagePrint for some time now with excellent results. For color images, you're pretty much stuck with the metamerism. ImagePrint attempts to solve it for color images by providing profiles for each paper using different target lighting: Tungsten, Daylight, Flourescent. Of course, that doesn't help if you'll be viewing the prints in mixed or changing lighting. I usually resort to test prints using each of the target light profiles and then pick the profile that gives the best overall results. Soon (Calumet expects to have it June 13), Lyson's CavePaint inks will be available for the 2200. I'm curious to hear how their yellow ink performs. Also, has anyone tested the MIS ultrachrome clone inks? --Tom
