Robert, Thank you for clarifying the situation. I was told that since Ergosoft had licensed the 2200 screening algorithm from Epson that included a clause not to support non-Epson inks, but that's third hand knowledge. In any case it is very sad that they will not be supporting the smaller printers. There are over 2900 members in this group and by far most of them are on printers like the 1160 and the 1280 with the 2200 likely to supplant those with time. Only a small number have the larger format printers although they tend to be some of the more active posters to the group. The largest market for software like StudioPrint would be for the under $1,000 printers but only if the pricing was down low enough to compete with the current packages from your competitors which are all under $500. If you supported quad inks on the 1280 at that price I know I would be raiding the piggy bank.
