Tim,

    I use Vuescan exclusively with my Polaroid Sprintscan 4000.  I scan to
capture all of the data, which results in a low contrast image.  I then
tweak the 16 bit file in Photoshop.  It's a 'little' more work, but
definitely worth it.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
