Status A is the measurement you want but unfortunately the Color Savvy Color Mouse Colorimeter does not give accurate density measurements. I discovered that when I compared its measurements with my X-Rite's readings. I called Color Savvy tech support, thinking my unit was faulty, and that's what I was told. Sometimes I use it for rough readings but never anything critical, like curves. You could use it to compare papers/inks but it won't give you true values.
