I am having a problem with MIS VM inks puddling and streaking. I refill my cartridges myself and have done so since getting my Epson 1280 from eBay this year. It happens at any random time, but more so after I refill the cartridge and let it sit overnight before putting it into the printer. My line of reasoning is related to the thickness of paper used. I use a lot of Office Depot Presentation paper for proof and also finished print. It is a matte paper product. If I use that paper, the chances of a blob or streak increases. I can then use a thicker paper (Epson Enhance Matte) immediately after a streaked print and then the print on the thicker paper has a very small chance of streaking and blobbing. Can anyone tell me if I am on the right track or not? Your friend in photography Johnny Eades
