I used the Renaissance Wax (available from Light Impressions - link 
below)  on the BW fiber prints.
It increased dmax for sure.  Easy to apply, acid free.  I haven't tried 
it yet on the digital prints - I am
just setting up for BW printing.  I am going to try it soon.
