My E3000 is within 20% of the end of its pad life. I just took a peek at the pads ( under the ink set ). From what I can observe, Epson is ultraconservative - most of the pad area seems white. I think I will do at least one reset before worrying about oversaturating the pads. Probably the same with all the Epsons.
