I'm mostly using a 7500 and it seems very reasonable but I don't have a real comparison. Gimp-print lots of printing options primarily under Resolution. If you've just used Highest Quality, I'd try out the next notch down. It'll probably be a lot faster and may not have a quality penalty. Roy
