The matte black that is currently sold with the Ultra Tone inkset is called "Eboni" black. I have not tried spraying it. I assume it would work to about the same extend other matte blacks work if sprayed. Eboni, like Museum and Epson UC Matte black, is a high-load ink. That is, it has about twice the amount of particles in suspension as the older inks. As such, it might require a higher amount of spray to hold it down. I'll try spraying one. The standard FS warms. The FS-N does not warm, but it is no more lightfast than the FS.
