Digital BW, The Print

In response to a question about the availability of Ultratone inks in 
carts for the 1200, MIS told me that they were not available now, 
although they did plan to make them available at some point.  They 
suggested that I buy empty carts from them and load them myself.  
That sounds like it would be more economical than buying loaded 
carts, but I am not sure how much of a hassle it will be and how long 
partially filled bottles of ink will keep.  

Does filling carts yourself require a lot of care to prevent clogs 
and bubbles or is it a relatively straight forward process?  Has 
anyone used the new Ultratone inks on a 1200??  From what I have seen 
thus far on the list, it sounds like it would be worthwile migrating 
from the MIS-VM inkset.
