You may want to try "Hue and Saturation." After opening the dialogue, I desaturate the image in the "master" setting, then chose one of the individual colors (or what really makes this powerful is to select a specific wavelength on the slider) to lighten or darken the response. I prefer H&S because I can control the boundaries of the color response and therefore get more control than with channel mix. Wendel
