No, it's close, but it doesn't work well for the 980.  The upper tones 
(increasing gray) are compressed such that the image prints out too 
dark in the shadows.

I did ask Jeff to generate a curve set for the 980.  He said his day 
job, the one that pays him, was taking up too much of his time for him 
to get to it.  Now, I ask, what kind of excuse is that?  <g>  <g>
