Hello all I finally gave up with trying to print using the Epson 2100 and decided to go with the MIS variable mix quadtones inks. I purchased a new Epson 1160 and ordered the inks and a continuous flow system from inksupply.com in the states. I fitted the CFS and followed the instructions supplied and what followed was like all my Christmases had come at once, beautiful black and white prints from an inkjet printer. For two days the printer worked fine but on the third day the yellow ink (vm-quad-4-y) refused to flow. I followed the trouble shooting guide and swapped the CFS for the original Epson cartridges, after a few cleaning cycles all was well. I then followed the second solution of pulled the ink through the cartridge using the blocked line procedure and refitted the CFS. After all this I still have my original problem. A few more details, all the tubes are full of ink, The inks pulled through the tubes with out a problem and when doing a nozzle check there is zero ink coming out of the yellow section. Would anyone have come across this problem before or have any idea as to where the problem lies or even better a solution. I have emailed inksupply, com but the replies have been very slow in coming and I am yet to have an answers to my problem. All help very much appreciated Bruce Bruce McKean allozzie@... www.brucemckean.com Australia
