Digital BW, The Print

After scanning many CD's into ACDsee (almost all b&w, so sort of OT),
key-word inexing them and so forth, I realized I hadn't included the
database in the backup routine.  But, I couldn't figure out how.  The
response from ACDsee tech support was that there was no way of backing up
the files, but that it was being considered for some future release.  I may
have run across a program before that didn't allow backup of data, but one
doesn't come to mind now.  I can trash the program and start over while I've
only go 40 or so CD's input, but does anyone have a solution for this?
