Re: [Digital BW] Changing from EBIONI ink to PK in a CFS system

2003-07-25 by David J. Simons

I want to do the same thing. I've taken the advice on the MIS website and ordered PK ink and a couple of simple black carts for my 1200. I'll fill one with PK and the other with Ebioni. Then switch between them. If you want I can let you know how it works.

Regards,

David

Subject: [Digital BW] Changing from EBIONI ink to PK in a CFS system

  Hello All

I am using a 1280 with MIS UT CFS ink set. It works very nicely with
no clogs. I would like to print on some gloss paper.

Has anybody come up with a easy way to change out the Eboni cart for
a PC cart with out makeing a mess.
My thought was to seperate the EBoni CFS tube from the bundle and
insert a new tube from the PK ink bottle to the new PK ink cart.

That way I could switch between the two.

Anybody got any thoughts on this or see any problems with doing it
  this way.

  Thanks

  Ed Blake
