After failing to overcome my CFS problems with the UT inkset, I decided stay with the inkset but go the cart-refill route. I also decided to try some color printing with my 1160. Accordingly, I bought some 2oz bottles of the MIS Archival pigment ink. I don't plan on printing larger than 6"x9" color stuff. Mostly it will be for proofing, just getting an idea about what negs might be worth printing seriously. Anyway, I'd be interesting in hearing about what kind of color output I can expect from the 1160. (BTW, I'm committed to using the UT inkset, and I don't believe that a CFS system is unworkable with the inkset. In my case I probably didn't pay enough attention to the height of the ink bottles. Even so, after numerous attempts at troubleshooting the problem I was having getting good nozzle checks with the yellow position ink, I decided that it just wasn't worth the hazzle nor the workout I was giving my printer, not to mention the ink I was using up.)
