You can get the same performance from the 1280 *IF* you load it
with 3rd-party inks.   And, I already own a 2200.  But, even if I
were re-thinking the printer-buying decision, I would probably
go with the 2200, because color is also important to me, and the
2200 is far better for color (at least if longevity is important
to you).
