Try TetraGun oil: it has a reasonable viscocity, is synthetic and with a good teflon content. I just noticed my E3000 making a vibration sound on each return motion of the head. A bit of this oil, actually, a tad more than very light, was needed to make it smooth. I plan to wipe it off and reapply after a bit of use frees the crud out from inside the sleeve bearing on to the shaft. PS: Don't forget the front head rest guide flange ( at least on the E3000 ) Best, Alex > > Don't use WD-40 ... > There are some great gun oils out there. Very, very thin layer. >
