Re: [Digital BW] Ultrasmooth Fine Art paper

2003-07-31 by A. Andrew Gonzalez

I thought the "PremierArt™ UltraSmooth Fine Art" and Epson's UltraSmooth ar=
e the
same paper?, as what seems to be indictated in Wilhem's test update
http://www.wilhelm-research.com/ep9600%20print%20permanence.html#table
(see note #6 on the bottom)

Take a look at the pdf on the Premier site:
http://www.premierimagingproducts.com/media/index.html
(looks like UtraSmooth sizes?)

From Royce Bair on the Epson Wide Format group:

they're similar or the same? Why mention the PremierArt
UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper if it's not in the above test?
No mention of the papers specs on the PremierArt site, only
 that's it's now available.>>

Mmmm.... Remember when Epson first introduced their Smooth
and Texture Fine Art papers, and mentioned that they were made
by Crane? And also Epson's own "Somerset Velvet" (similar to
Legion's Somerset Photo Enhanced). Need I say more? I'll just
say that InkjetART will be carrying BOTH the Epson UltraSmooth
Fine Art and the PremierArt paper (Henry W. made a slip here, it
will be called just "PremierArt", and not "PremierArt
UltraSmooth"). Our stocks of PremierArt should arrive within two
 weeks (the 250 g/m2 and the 325 g/m2 -- 500 g/m2 are being
 delayed).
