Digital BW, The Print

The size of bead completely depends on the paper, the rod and the size  
of the print that you are coating...so you just need to determine by  
experiment.  I use about 4-5ml of Hydrocote for an 8x10 final print  
with a #30 rod with Eclipse.  The key is to spread the bead out...but  
not all the way to the edge of the paper because the bead spreads as  
you drawdown.  I almost always trim 2-3 inches at the top, 1 inch at  
the bottom and 1/2" on the sides after the print is dry.
