I'm curious to know if anyone is using a compressor and paint gun to spray their prints. I'm having such good success with my method that I'm curious to know if others are experiencing the same fine results. I struggled with the Mayer Rod for months and never found the method consistently good. The nice thing about spraying, in my opinion, is I can spray any size print and get exactly the same results with no mess unlike clean-up with the Mayer rod. Clean-up with the spray gun is just a couple of minutes. Plus, no glass, or rod to clean, and no extra material to try to recapture to save costs. If anyone is interested in my workflow, just reply to me off list and I'll be glad to detail my method and equipment. If the Mayer rod works for you, great! Joe D.
