Some comments made by Vincent Oliver in the forum section of http://www.photo-i.co.uk/ "The HP 7960 b/w prints are the best you will see anywhere; no cast, no metamerism and 73 years+ life. I'm sure an A3 printer is in the pipeline. HP also has the HP Designjet 120 printer, an A2+ printer. This uses six inks and produces some excellent colours, I will try to get hold of one for review." "B/W has been totally addressed, now you can have 4097 shades of true grey, compared to 17 shades on a normal six ink printer, the other shades of grey are made up from a combination of coloured inks, that's why you get colour cast's. Metamerism is also a thing of the past, in our tests we could barely see any change of colour and we used several light sources."
