Dear List, I have QTR working splendidly with my Epson 2200 and OSX. Wasn't too hard to figure out the naming convention of the printer and the text files that drive them. Love the color!!! Now just need a simple way to create curves beyond just "warm" and "neutral". However, getting QTR to work with my 9600 has been something else... Note that I *AM* able to print to the 9600 from both GIMP and QTR. So I have proved that the GIMP part of it actually works. The issue I am having is that I started out copuying the 2200 curve, renamed it, built it, and thought that the print coming out of the 9600 would be "close" since the inks used between the 2200 and the 9600 are essentially the same. I can report that if you do what I did -- make a copy of the 2200-warm curve, rename the printer to match your 9600, build and add the curves. When you go to print what you will get is an EXTREMELY dark image. So my question is: has anyone had any success at all with the 7600/9600 curves? Could it be that I have overlooked something simple? For example, I further edited my new 9600-warm curve with a Gamma=1.5 and re-built it and re-printed it with no change at all. Does that make sense? Thanx MJS
