I also didn't think that the higher res settings would add that much  
more to print quality so I haven't bothered trying to re-profiling at  
these settings.  I really don't know why the 1440x1440 setting opens  
the flood gates on the 2200, but it is definitely not suited for this  
printer with gimp.  I may try some of the other dither options- the  
Eventone one in particular.
