After installing the new driver, I now have the roll paper and borderless printing features available and also a reduced (minimum) margin feature. If you are interested in printing B&W images with minimal effort in OS X look into QuadTone RIP; got to http://www.harrington.com for more information (lookt at the bottom of the home page for the link). The beauty of using QuadTone RIP is you can keep the Epson UC inkset and still get great B&W prints by mixing the warm and cool curves provided in the QT RIP setup.
