Alex,

If you want to seperate the inks look at Dan Culbertsons work 
flows. He has done extesive work in this area. All based around 
the ink positions of the Piezo and MIS FS ink positions.  Most of 
his workflows involve using a rip, but from what I have seen they 
are very good at allowing full control. However they require some 
work on your part to get a good setup for you. I have worked a bit 
with it but I found the Woolf method to be so good that I havn't 
messed with Culbertsons methods in a while.
