There may be a way to print in Linux with Roy's QTR2 via gimp but I haven't
found it. You can print directly using qtcups. from a terminal just enter
qtcups "printer file name" (excluding the quotation marks.

Subject: Re: [Digital BW] QTR2 for Linux
As soon as I get the strange spraying of the Eboni black in my
9000 solved I would like to print from the Linux system directly
instead of using Samba/Windows. I have seen that the Gimp
interferes with QTR while I can see with Yast/Cups in Suse that
everything is properly installed. Are there simple bitmap
programs in Linux instead of the Gimp that allow me to use QTR ?
I rather send the imagefile and have the Linux box do the work
than get two systems running on one task.
BTW that strange spraying happens with all the three 9x00
printers a friend and I have loaded with Eboni black. It was one
of the first pint sets that came from MIS. Anyone else
experienced this ? The other greys, toners and 7600 colours are
alright.
