Alex, Just now my printer is loaded with dye FS inks which I mixed myself with Paul Roark\ufffds help. With Piezo driver the prints are beautiful but not permanent. My plan was to make digital negatives with these inks and E3000 but the inks don't dry on the film. Epson and after market CMY inks I bought here work very well but the dots are to disturbing. I first started with Cone's Piezo inks and it was very expensive disaster because of clogging. Then I bought MIS WM-Sepia inks because they are pigment and permanent. The prints are beautiful with or without Paul's curves. No clogging at all. In april last year I put one print under the window facing the sky and it yellowed a little bit and lost 1/2 stop of density in two weeks. The print is still there unchanged after 16 months. One thing is sure, Enhanced Matte is very good paper. I tried to make digital negatives with these inks, they dry but I got smudging in 90% and 95% steps because of the black ink which has a different solvent. I am using this printer to make test prints with Piezo driver. There is one more thing shall try. I shall buy used E1290, load it with dye CMY inks to make digital negatives and try to find non clogging permanent black to print black only. I have seen Clayton Jones's BO prints and I liked them very much, and that would be the end of my experiments, my resources are not unlimited.
