What ink are you using? I definitely see a differnce in Dmax between EEM and PhotoRag when using UltraChrome ink. I plan to try EVFA on Ron's recommendation.

I've printed on the wrong side of PhotoRag with PiezoTone ink and it results in a horrible looking image with poor Dmax. To test which side is printable, try the tongue test. If your tongue sticks, it is the printable side.
