If you use it's proprietary software, the EyeOne produces readings in LAB. These can be converted to density readings using Bruce Lindbloom's Companding Calculator: http://www.brucelindbloom.com/ If you own StudioPrint, it will produce density readings when the EyeOne is used with it.
