In just the past few days these two papers and the differences
have been discussed extensively in this forum (in the "EAM
paper turns yellow!" thread).
EEM contains optical brighteners, and while it's initially
a little "whiter/brighter" than HWM, the brighteners (and paper)
eventually turn yellow. The HWM avoids the brightener issue and
as you've found, is otherwise extremely close to EEM in the way it
prints both color and B&W. HWM should be at least the equal of
EEM with regard to image fade. The HWM is a bit thinner than
EEM.
