Hello Colin Procedure 3 on Mywords worked for me and my 1290 (uk equivalent to 1280 I believe) - in fact I sent the details to Nij at Mwords which is why they are their now. But you do have to follow every step strictly as described. Of course, that's not to say it will work for you - but it may be worth a second try if you still have the problem.
