My concern with the former is the high price of the ink carts ($18 apiece). But I can't say that I'm crazy about the price of the IP RIP, or Colorbyte's rather restrictive support and upgrade policies. Have you read Clayton's review of the last print exchange? I found it very interesting that the plain old, vanilla Epson driver on the 2200 coupled with custom Gretag-Macbeth profiles fared as well, if not better, than these RIPs. Dan
