Thanks, Len,

I tried version 3 on the Mwords site several times but without 
success before I posted my message.

I didn't try again over the weekend as I get so frustrated and 
decided to leave it until maybe I learned of other options today.  I 
did however clean up the machine to prepare it to have the CIS 
removed and OEM carts installed before sending it to the Epson agent!

I'll give it another go.  If I'm successful I'll let you know.
