Thanks for posting the link to this.  I was not aware of this at all, 
and it looks like very interesting reading.  Also, this moots the 
message I posted right before Labor Day ("Print Exchange Idea -- 
please read (long)"), which was basically the same idea as what he's 
already done.

BTW, I installed my Septone system.  Unfortunately, I can't report on 
print quality yet b/c there's a serious problem with the cartridges 
(not just mine -- apparently, they sent out a batch that don't work 
well).

On the one hand, this doesn't increase my confidence in the Septone 
system.  On the other hand, after they got the first call regarding 
this problem (not from me -- I just installed mine on Sun.), they 
immediately called everyone who'd bought the system and said they'd 
be sending free replacement cartridges ASAP (which I hope is really 
soon).  So, despite the problem w. the cartridges, they get an A for 
effort in correcting the problem.

I'll post again as soon as I get the replacement cartridges and have 
a chance to run some prints.
