I'm running PS 7.0 on an AMD 2800+ and 1gig of 128bit memory with XP Pro. Runs great. I also run it on a much smaller machine with XP home, and have run it on WIN ME. Be aware that, at least the ImagePrint 5.5 for Epson 2200/7600/9600 requires WIN XP to get full functionality. I don't kow if other software is out there that has similar requirements. You might consider that before jumping. Most WIN new development seems to be targeted for XP Pro. 2000 seems to be fading as a prefered platform for new development.
