Actually, the instructions Roy provides work pretty well with the below 
modifications.  What is more important is that you have both Cups and 
Samba installed and operational before you move on to QTR.  Samba is 
optional, but I found it made my workflow a lot smoother.  Once you are 
printing test pages via CUPS, you can run Roy's make and install 
scripts, then move on to installing curves.

Notes:
- - Look at the curve files.  Make sure your printer names are correct.
- - Any time the documentation says to 'drag and drop' you need to 
manually enter the complete path to the file you were supposed to drag 
and drop.
- - There is more documentation in the source directory, which is a 
little more helpful than whats on the site.  It's unfortunately in RTF 
format, so you'll need to find an RTF viewer.  I use a program called Ted.
- - Paper source needs to be automatic, not roll or sheet.  Not sure why.

I still get disturbing I/O errors in my log when I print, but for the 
most part it prints with the bundled curves on my 2200 ok.  I'm moving 
on to a more Roark like workflow for now, because I couldn't find any 
curves for the UT inkset in a 2200, and I'm not sure how to make one.

Any other Linux users wanna contribute points I missed?
