The Russian Camera group of Bob Shell fame, finally had to move to another list (Beststuff) because of spam attacks. Have a look at that list to see what's its like when the spammers take over. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/russiancamera/ The group finally moved to: http://www.beststuff.com/forum/index.php?f=25 Another possibility would be an email forum such as the Prodig listserv. They have a listmum on weekly rotation duty. They are spam free, as far as I know. http://www.prodig.org/ And then there is the Topica lists, where John Browlow (who used to be active on this list) founded a street photography group. Topica being less known than Yahoo is more likely to be under the radar of spammers. http://www.topica.com/lists/streetphoto The above are just examples, not even suggestions. There may be problems with these lists that I may not be aware of. As long as the spam is tolerable, and we dont break into hives(?) when one is posted, I say let's go on as usual. Cheers, Andre
