Aitor,

That would solve the spam problem but it would be impossible for us to
devote the time required to process all the new members. The list is growing
fast with sometimes as many as 10 to 20 people joining in a single day.
There is a lot of coming and going so the rate of people joining is even
higher than the 3400 membership suggests.
