Re: [Digital BW] 1280 problem

2003-10-04 by Yume Grot

Hi Boris,
I had the same problem with my 2000P, which was with me for three and a half years. My printer had short in the head and I had to change the printing head.
Best regards Yume

  hi all.

i'm printing BO with MIS's GP (Ultrachrome equivalent) inks on a 1280.

starting yesterday I'm having a problem I can't seem to fix. I get irregular cyan and magenta bands in my images, it extends beyond the actual print area. looks like something is leaking or dirty.

i tried printing a bunch of pages with cyan and magenta and tried a couple of cleaning cycles. no go.

does anyone know what i can do or clean to fix this? timing is according to murphy's law because i have a bunch of photos sold and paid for and can't print :(

if it helps: i use cartridges; the black one i refill myself and the color one is stock MIS.

  thanks so much as always.

  cheers,

  boris
