Brfore spending extra money you could try removing the
tubing and carefully passing a a long piece of metal
wire down the tube to dislodge the blockage. This has
worked for me in the past with no reoccuring problems.

I think I've established that my tubes are blocked
(dried ink) after 
standing idle for some time. 
How can I free them up - maybe injecting windex from
the bottle end ?
Or, just replace the individual tubes or whole ribbon
tube.

I guess i can only get/wait for these from mis ?
