Then it must be something about my machine. I ran Dish First Aid and repaired permissions (which I should have done after the 10.2.8 update) and it changed settings for lots of CUPS files. But the installer still absolutely will not launch. It gives me the zooming outline as if a window were to open, the dock expands to show the installer's icon, but immediately contracts, all in the blink of an eye, no error message of any kind. Baffling! I'm really interested in buying IP, but I need to see its grey scale output before I plunk down my money. My biggest concern is metamerism.
