Eddie, I can certainly appreciate your frustration. Been there. I think the reason noone has come up with a suggestion/solution is that you appear to have covered all the bases. Just one small detail - is there any chance your paper thickness toggle lever has moved ? This can cause slight banding. Also, I dont know the no more carts setup as I have a cfs from mis - but I've had the black ink tube gummed up which prevented ink flow - had to replace the tube.
