Thanks, Steve, that is indeed a sensible idea. However...in looking at
today's posts on the 4000, I may wait a while for it. Neutral, cold and
warm tones just about cover the waterfront for me, plus the ability for more
toning with the color inks. My prints are seldom over 11 -12" wide, but it
would be nice to have 16" paper for better salon borders. _If_ it will
perform as described, $1,800 sounds like a fair price. Now...if I could
just get my ancient 1270 back in action after whatever ImagePrint did to my
system.
