Sounds like a good idea. I actually have an extra CIS I've been
holding onto. It seems like the image quality using the epson driver
must be excellent since so many people, including yourself are using
it.
Just took a gander at the workflows etc on MIS' website--looks pretty
cool. I've been following this group along time but since I'm in
piezo land I let most of it sail over my head.
So if the UT w/ eboni is similar in fade resistance, half the price,
and I can adjust the tone--mmmm no wonder so many use this.
